Hi All, newbie here from Cornwall. 

 Having been a Ford driver since I was 17, thought it about time to join in on the Ford scene albeit mine is more on the classic side. Thought i'd give you all a little 'Car history' to show you all my love of cars in general. I am a bit of a Petrol head and a Mechanic/ MOT TESTER and would like to speak to like minded people. I have been on other forums where un-fortunately there have been too many 'Sunday mechanics' who believe they know everything. I would be the first to admit I don't know everything and wouldn't try to give advise on a topic I didn't really know the answer to.

there have been other cars in my garage not worth mentioning, apart from the MK2 Scirocco GT , A 1983 version which apparently was featured in some car magazine when new, but was a £100 do-it-upper when I bought it, had a years worth of wide smiles driving it and gave to a friend who enjoyed it too.
