Ford Fiesta mk 5 engine cutting out.

Featured Replies

Went on holiday for a week, came back. Car started fine drove back from Manchester no problems.

couple of days later went to get in the car to go to work and it started revved to about 2000 revs then cut out. Tried again and when I left the gas on it would run fine. After a while it would run.

couple days later the battery died on it. It wouldn’t turn over at all. Jumped it off and went to drive it around the block. Everytime I slowed down the engine would cut out.

found a split hose beneath the air intake taped it up but still same issue so would like to replace the hose but can’t actually figure out what it is.
