Hi, new member just joined.

I've always owned Fords having owned an assortment of Anglia (first car) and Escorts of various models. Currently I have a 1978 Ford Escort RS Mexico I've owned from new, 2011 Focus ST, ex-demo and according to Ford Etis last registered Mk2 Focus and was featured in issue 2 of Modern Classics magazine, and a 2014 Fiesta Ecoboost, another ex-demo from main Ford dealer.

I've attached a couple of photos showing the Mexico at a local car show, the Audi R8 and rally Escort belong to some friends, and the Focus ST...known in the family as "The Beast!".

    Thank you. According to "How Many Left?", approx 200 on road, from approx 2200 built, 1976 to 1978, Ford never released official build numbers!

    The engine is all original, 1600cc OHC Pinto, 4 speed 'box, but the car had a full body restoration and repainted in a new coat of Venetian red paint. I've tried to keep her as original as possible, but finding OEM NOS parts is very difficult - and expensive! She goes to many classic car shows.
