Headlight unit/assembly cut off issues

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I seem to be having a issue after I de-tangoing my headlights. The passenger side headlight's cut off seems to go way above the other. Basically I'm in for a MOT next month and I'm a little scared it will fail due to this. Any ideas on what I've done would be great.

I think I may have scratched the inside of the plastic or possibly knocked the ballast off. If anyone's had this issue please let me know below.

Thanks alot

not sure if i understand.  are you saying if you are facing a wall with lamps on dip, the top of the beam on left lamp is higher than top of beam on right lamp? or the line is not straight? or angled?  apart from the height adjustment, you can get odd beam pattern if bulb is not straight, eg. turned around a bit in the holder.

headlamp beam is one of the things MOT testers like to make a bit of money on, eg. £10 for 30 seconds with a screwdriver.
