Drivers door unlock

I have a strange problem with the drivers door on my Mondeo I lock the car every think is fine when I go to unlock it I press the unlock button on the remote and all the doors unlock except the drivers door I have to press the unlock button again on the remote to unlock the drivers door does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it
