Hi everybody!I have had Golfs for many many years but a recent bad never ending experience with a TDI made me decide to go back to a Ford! I wanted to go back to petrol as well simply because we were all conned to buy one and now being penalised for it! So, I have in my past(a long, long time ago in a life far from here) had 105E's, 107E, a Corsair, a Cortina etc. That was in the days when you were lucky if they started in the rain! Holts Dampstart was the order of the day! So here I am 40 years later finding myself looking at Fords again. I bought a cheap 2005 1.6 Focus to try and I was very impressed! Drove every bit as good as a Golf but maybe just a little too big for the wife and as my son was looking for a car I sold it to him and looked at a Fusion. Never really took much notice of them before as they are on the same lines as a Fiesta but once driven I was hooked. I picked one with the 1.6 engine in as it went very well indeed. This car has done 98000 miles and just had a clutch assembly fitted. It had some service history but no mention of a cambelt so I had my local garage fit a new cambelt and both auxillary belts for peace of mind. Well impressed with the car and now about to change my wifes ailing 206 for a Fiesta so Fords for us from now on. Bob
