If combined with the correct wheel nuts these wheels can be used without any problems.

However from an aesthetic  point of view the wheels will be sitting a bit too far into the wheelwells (closer to the suspension). This can be solved by installing spacers.

So which nuts would I need? I’ve looked on eBay but struggling to find them. I’m really Unsure about them as I want it to be safe as possible.

The original Ford Finis number is 1678260 (part number 8V41-1K024-AC).

There are also several aftermarket equivalents for this wheel nut. For excample the Febi Bilstein 29463.

Thanks for all your help. But the seller cancelled the order for me. I didn’t feel easy about them after reading about the extras needed. Guess I’ll keep looking and try and find the right wheels for my car.

Out of curiosity, would these fit my focus?

Renault wheels do usually have a center bore of 66,1 mm. Ford has a center bore of 63.,3 mm. This can be solved by using hub centric rings.

It’s never plain sailing is it? Haha would a wheel fitter have said rings as I’ve tried eBay and can’t find that size.

66,1 mm to 63,3 mm hub centric rings do exist but are extremely rare (and also expensive). There are actually not a lot of people who want to install renault wheels onto a Ford.

It is much easier to buy a set of original Ford wheels or aftermarket wheels (that come with all needed mounting hardware).

I’m without my car at the moment so can’t check, but how do I know if my car has the tyre pressure sensors? (2015 Focus Titanium 1.6TDCI)

Check your reg on ETIS, it'll say 'tyre pressure sensors 433mhz' if you have them.  Fairly sure you will on that car though.

When your with your car ,have a feel for a ridge on the tyre valves. That indicates sensors. But your age will have sensors.

I’ve took the plunge and bought new alloys and tyres. I figured by the time I’d bought second hand wheels and had them refurbished, sprayed and new tyres fitted I’d be in the best part of £600 - 700.

So for £630 I’m getting a complete new set with tyre sensors and rim guards delivered to my house.

Rial / Anzio wheels (same manufacturer) do usually have a pretty big rim flange. On these wheels the rim guard must be pretty large otherwise or will not protect the rim at all.

I have a set of 8 x 18 Anzio Turn wheels with 225-40-18 Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 tyres. These tyres have a pretty large integrated rim protector but because of the large rim flange of the Anzio wheel there is basically no rim protection at all.

Are these wheels any good? I’m looking at those plastic rim guards as well.

In my opinion Rial and Anzio wheels are really nice. The quality of these wheels is really good (comparable with original Ford wheels). These wheels are great value for money.

Note that these wheels require hubcentric rings and correct wheel nuts. When ordering specifically for a Ford these are usually included. However some sellers sell the hubcentric rings and wheel nuts seperately.

I specified my car when ordering them and they supply a fitting kit too. I assume this will have the necessary parts?

The fitting kit contains the correct size hubcentric rings and wheel nuts so you should be fine.

The specified torque to tighten the wheel nuts can be found in the European approval documents. These documents can be found online when searching for the KBA number that is casted onto the wheel.

I’ll look into it cheers for the help.

All done. Had the new wheels fitted Saturday. Went on without a problem. Nice snug fit without centering rings. Shame the nuts were silver but fitted caps over them. Had the windows tinted today and it’s looking niiiice.
