2010 titaniumx how to remove and refit new oil pump

having difficulty removing oil pump from my mondeo titanium x 2ltr diesel it is held on by 3 bolts one of which sits above a lip on casing can only unscrew it so far not enough to get cog out of chain do we need to strip bottom of casing and aircon pump etc anyone pump out need to check pumps the problem thanks for any ideas guys

    got oil pump out had to remove casing above sump lowered aircon unit could then access third bolt a lot of work to undo one bolt pump more or less seized fortunately engine seems ok if I had been on motorway would have wrecked it been searching google for titanium x  pump looks like chickens have more teeth

    Glad you've got it off useful info thanks, hope you find a pump, I'd go for new, but there are a few on eBay. Just search for Mondeo Tdci oil pump the titinium bit is irrelevant

    As @pragmatixstates above, the Titanium bit is just the trim level and there aren't that many Titanium X's kicking about so it's no wonder you have been struggling to find one!
