Which map provider database the build in sync 3 navigator uses?

Have anybody found any map updates available?

    Navteq was an American Chicago-based provider of geographic information system (GIS) data and a major provider of base electronic navigable maps.

    The company was acquired by Nokia in 2007/2008, and fully merged into Nokia in 2011 to form part of the Here business unit

    Nokia announced an agreement to sell HERE to a consortium of three German automotive companies, Audi AG, BMW Group and Daimler AG

    And I think you have to have your Ford dealer update.

    Would things such as this not be updated if and when the vehicle is taken to a Ford dealership for a Dealer Service?

    No update available as yet there is a rumour that an upgrade may be available in June, Ford don't even know if it will be chargeable or free, or even if it's due, customer service where worse than useless, as was the local dealer when I asked, they seem to think that 5 years out of date is ok as most people use there smart phones.

    F7 maps are on the verge to come out.

    i have the test version works great much improvement in the maps and voices.
