Deep sleep mode constantly activating on 21 Focus
Hey all. I purchased my 21 Focus at the start of the year and ever since I took delivery of it, it seems the Deep Sleep mode activates constantly. As soon as I lock the car, within five minutes I get the notification. It is recommending a long drive without the AC on to fix but I regularly drive 200+ miles in one journey, just for it to appear again. I did buy the extended warranty so is it a case of taking it back to the dealership? cheers all!

Can anyone confirm why the passenger footwell is damp? Drivers side appears to be fine? I lifted up the floor mat and could see condensation and then but the back of my hand against the floor carpet and could feel it was damp / saturated.

There was a squeal from an engine belt in my Fiesta in every gear while accelerating. When at speed or coasting it was gone, only when under load. I brought it to my Ford garage and they replaced an idler pulley after saying the belt was twisted. But I have just driven the car for the first time since the work today and the squeal is still there !!! it has to go back at the end of the month for a new starter motor but what could the squeal be ? Ford Fiesta Club 7Diesel smell in cabin
Hi, First post, sorry if this is a common fault. Have diesel smell in cabin when car has sat for a few days. Clears after good run but when foot down car emits a smokescreen. Been told this maybe a problem with diesel return pipe. Any ideas, suggestions? 2007 Focus 1560cc TDCi Are system cleaners such as Wynn's or STP worth using? Kind Regards Brian

According to my local ford dealer this issue is being caused by a faulty actuator. Apparently they have slats that control the air flow through the front of the car, closed when cold to improve warmup and then they open once the car is up to temp. On my car they're partly open and not moving. It's getting some airflow when cold, making it take longer to warmup, but insufficient air flow when warm therefore triggering the fans to run. -

I'd not recommend that, but it's your car. Not that I'm a fan of KwikFit (far from it) but they have a money back offer if they regas the system and it doesn't make the A/C cooler by a certain amount. Check their website for details. -

Variety of possible reasons: - All cars feel different and depending on what you had previously, might just be a case of becoming accustomed to it and finding the ideal balance of clutch/throttle. Some diesels can be a bit "all or nothing" in their power delivery and take a while to get used to. - I've had a couple of cars with incurable software "glitches" such as Tom mentions, just had to drive round the problem. - Could be worn/weak engine mounts - some cars are known for this even from new - Clutch issue ("judder") particularly when the car is cold. -

Go for s-max gut the dpf and egr blanking problem solved may aswell throw in a remap 😆. More serious note not all have dpf find one that doesn't I'm more of a Jap car fan always had them subaru impreza which I do miss. Nissan largo,Nissan elgrand and others but I love my s-max was all that was available to me at the time but don't regret it
