Another dead fiesta!

Ive seen a red Zetec S driving around plymouth with a young guy driving it, around 20, for a while now. When i first saw him he looked at me as to say 'puff only for a Zetec'.

And this morning i was send this picture from my girlfriend.

Well at least i still have my 'Zetec' :)

Now that is a crying shame. Good to see that the cabin structure has held up well and all the crumpling is kept to the front. That door doesn't look like ti would be easy to open though

Ouch!

I'm waiting for a 'bog-standard' Colorado red Zetec to be delivered, but I don't see it as being anything lower down the Fiesta pecking-order - in fact I'm quite proud and can't wait to collect it. (It's purely a financial thing in my case, rather than anything else). I've got every respect for those wanting to own a Zetec S if they can afford it - but we do need a bit of variety, otherwise the roads would be full of identical Fiestas.

Must have hurt this guy's pride more than anything though - seeing his beloved motor being paraded through the streets of Plymouth like this.

Yea he must have had a reality check.

Its a shame to see a car like this but the guy looked like he drove it like a knobber :)

It's a shame to see all these pictures of hurt Fiestas :( But reassuring to see it's doing it's job safety-wise and folding in all the right places

Actually looks worse than mine!!, by the way still waiting on those parts, unbelievable to be held up by a bonnet hinge!!

All these pictures of damaged cars prove that the Fiesta is not just a pretty face; it's actually does what it says on the tin ie protects its occupants.

What more could we want......in Alexander's words......simples! ;)

Ouch! Believe it or not - that car isn't too far away from being a write-off. Front end is totalled - and the engine has been pushed right back into the chassis itself - probably 'cracked' and at the very least badly damaged. [i spent 6 years working for an Insurance Co/Loss Adjusters].

Obviously - in this case - he was driving like a complete !Removed!!

All that matters is that the driver's OK--everything else can be rectified or replaced.

Maybe things would have been different had he not been in a Fiesta?
