Why would this not already be on the car??

Ford like to pic and choose what cars these go on. I havnt got one but my friend with a 2010 version of my car has.

My dealer told me they put a rubber strip in front of the bonnet that will keep the engine clean and that the mechanic hated the cover.

That makes sense.

Nope don't have one but am looking for one. European parts have it but they aren't very customer friendly so will absolutely not buy from them. And it was too much anyways

anyways

Why aren't they 'customer friendly'?

I've ordered a couple of things from them without any trouble at all.

Just for your info the part is for the Focus ecoboost so don't be surprised when they tell you that ;)

The Fiesta doesn't have an engine cover part Number :)

Oh okay thanks for that. So if they tell me I can't order one for the fiesta cause there isn't any I will tell them to order a focus one lol

Nick. Chris is right, there is also a mounting kit which comprises of 2 extention bolts. Didn't get the part numbers but they are about £2.50 each.

I was looking at my engine (yeah just starring at it lol) and I saw behind the injectors a hole for a bolt. But no bolt in it. Could this be what it's for?

I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and try and get some pictures up of the cover / bolts / fixings etc.

From what I can see the cover is held in place at the back at 2 points and by the oil filler cap.
