Hi.

I have a 2002 Focus Tdci.The reversing light is flickering on & off as I drive forwards & sometimes stays on for a long period of time.Yesterday I changed the reversing light switch,but this has not solved the problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

    drive every where in reverse then it wont matter that the light is always on :)

    Try leaving the reversing light switch disconnected. If this cures the problem then the cause is likely to be in the gearbox. Normally the reverse selector rod moves a plunger which operates the switch. Possibly this plunger is sticking.
