Surprising how much good a few filter changes can do for your car, it's not expensive so it's worth doing.

I go about 65mph on the motorway which keeps mine at about 2,500rpm which is fine with me. I'll give it a good kick down once in a while though to flush everything out and keep things flowing nicely. :)

60 mph is a shade over 2000 rpm in mine. I also change my oil twice a year too - always have done, regardless of miles!

I think everybody should. Definitely worth while. Although decent oil can be expensive stuff. I get the Castrol stuff for mine. No cheaper Tesco oil for mine. :lol:

Christ, just read through this whole thread from the start and it's pretty shocking how I bought my old car back within a space of a day. :o

I like the castrol oil protects the engine from start up i would never trust the asda smart price oil tho probaily a bottle of water with abit of oil in it :lol:
