Thank you for the links appreciate this , ive just got that CTEK one as had plenty of amazon vouchers to spend , all been a great help

fingers crossed this resolves my issues

I'd definitely be investing in one if I didn't have on-street parking.

If I was buying again then I would go for the CTEK one, purely due to the reviews you see on Amazon. Also when I've come across discussions on other car forums it seems to be the 'go to' charger

I’m back on here again looking for abit more advice , so I have got myself a CTEK battery charger , I have hooked it up to trickle charge the battery however the whole time it is connected the car alarm is going off , I’m guessing the battery is so flat as I can’t use either of my key fobs to override the alarm

just wondering if anyone knows any other way of disabling the alarm while the battery gets some well needed juice charged back into it

am I able to remove the “anti theft alarm horn” fuse from the passenger fuse box to disable this temporarily until my battery has charged or does anyone have any other ideas ?
All help will be much appreciated

I'm having this same proplem, fobs not working even with a new battery in them, opened the car manually the alarm went off. Wrestled with the battery on the car for 10 minutes while the alarms going off, neighbours looking at me funny. Disconnected the battery but the alarm was still going off. I have a Halfords battery charger I was going to use but I keep thinking if it didn't have any charge would the alarm still go off and maybe it's just my key fobs are faulty some how. Did you fix this issue and if you did how did you sort it?

Cheers
