Has anyone received the £500 fuel card that we have been promised ?
My last communication with Ford Customer Relations dated 8th October said  it would be with me “in a week or two”

Anybody got an update ?

I'm from The Netherlands and haven't received the 500 euro fuel card yet.

It's 4 weeks since it was promised to send it out within 3 weeks. Don't make a promise if you can't keep it, Ford!!

Honestly the only hybrids I'd trust at the moment are toyota/Lexus.  I know people with BMW and Merc hybrids with similar horror stories.

  • Hi All, Have just had a call from my dealership they are expecting delivery of the battery packs from Ford 25th Jan onwards so they are taking bookings to get them done, so we seem to be inching

Absolutely shocking customer relations.I too have had promise after promise and if you watch the video from the CEO it is clear that the reality has passed her by , it is likely to be 6 to 7 months adter the problem was discovered before the full recall is completed , with little meaningful communication or compensation. I will never buy a Ford again. I'm selling my Kuga PHEV and good riddance

Going to find a company that values my custom

I Facebook messaged ford uk last night and asked about the fuel cards , the reply came this morning with apologies and stating that the fuel cards have been sent to customers and are on their way.

lets see , if not received by next Wednesday everybody use fbook messenger to give out the grief .

Think you will find all car manufacturers the same. You buy a new car you are the test dummy . Anything goes wrong hard to get fix till recalls when manufacturer admits liability. Friday cars the worst! If there isn't a solution there's no fix.

Update I've received my fuel card and pin today at Last, hopefully everyone will be getting there's as well.

I’ve received mine today too.

still awaiting reimbursement for the 12v Battery that I had to replace. Nearly 2 months.

use it before petrol goes up to pre-lockdown prices! what stations can you use it in?

I’ve had my pin & fuel card although pin arrived week or more before the card. I have a service plan which have been advised to cancel by dealer when I spoke to company they advised £30. admin charge to cancel, talking to Ford & dealer as don’t see why I should pay this. When I spoke to Customer services about lack of contact told they had wrong email address ok, but what about snail mail or even the Ford Pass App which they used to advise if the recall. Just so bad all round.

Darcey is your kuga a lease one and service included ?

Hi, no the service plan is through my dealership easier to pay monthly rather than having to find lump sum, something that I have done with my previous cars as well.

I'm happy to read some owners received the fuel card. I'm still waiting for it...😢

Is the fuel card limited to set garages or can they be used at any fuel garages

Hooray car has been released now !!! Expecting Xmas or just after let’s hope it’s all sorted now

Hi, the fuel card is BP & Aral. Sounding good that your car has been released. Still waiting to hear about getting mine sorted out. Has anyone else heard any

You will hear something very soon.

Hi All,

Have just had a call from my dealership they are expecting delivery of the battery packs from Ford 25th Jan onwards so they are taking bookings to get them done, so we seem to be inching forward slowly.

Hope your complimentary fuel voucher doesn't run out before then. Should be free fuel till problem fixed then they might pull there finger out.

It should all be done in Around a day , but then need charging up and valeting before returning vehicle. So 3 days is playing it safe on the first vehicles to be done.

Am I one of the first to have their car sorted out.  They are also giving me a car, like for like for the 3 days.

Hi, mine is booked for 10th Feb for 3 days will be getting a Kuga as loan car been told. They are only doing one car at a time due to staff and equipment needed apparently. Mine is not there first one so hopefully by the time mine is done any issues or problems will be sorted, let’s all wait & see what happens still expecting a call to cancel as parts have not arrived due to lockdown or brexit🙂🙂🙂🙂

Fingers crossed all goes well.  I’ll try and remember to let you all know.

Did the garage ask any questions when they contacted you or just said book you in for the 3days?

They did ask me if there was anything else that I wanted checked whilst it’s there. They are also aware that my car keeps going “to sleep” & I can’t turn the car off & continue a phone call or listen to the radio as it all turns off with a minute they tell me it’s al linked so we wait to see when the repair is carried out

My Kuga PHEV ST X goes in on 2-2-2021 for 2 to 3 days with a hire car being supplied for the duration of repair. I understand that there are other things that have to be done not just the battery change and software upgrade. I also have a problem with the blind spot system. I received my £500 fuel card in November. I read that we also get increased warranty and free servicing for 3 years. Has any one herd any different?.
