2018 Fiesta Mk8 3 door - PDC & RCM Module locations

Featured Replies

I have a 2018 Ford Fiesta MK8 3 door but I can't find where 2 modules go :

1. RCM Module (airbag module) - Module needs to be sent off for clearing, but can't find where it is

2. PDC module (rear parking sensors) - Replacement bumper I have contains sensors and I think I can program the car to accept them, but I can't see where the module goes, hence I don't know if I have the appropriate connection to the main loom.

Any help, would be much appreciate.

Kraven

The RCM is located under the floor console by the handbrake lever.

The bcm will also need a reset via diagnostic software. Wouldn't it be easier to leave the RCM fitted and get ford to reset both in one go. No need to remove with fords diagnostics. The RCM can be reset up to 5 times.

As for the Parking aid module, the connectors/module is located in the o/s/r of boot.

Hi Ian, I hope you can help me you seem to know alot.

I've got a 2019 fiesta st3 and the driver seat air bag has deployed, the curtain airbag has deployed and the drivers, passenger, and os rear passenger belts have blown. I've replaced everything and the airbag module has been reset. Do I need to replace the sensor in the drivers door and both sensor by the bottom of the seat belts.

You shouldn't need to replace sensors unless  damaged. Do you still have issues after fitting the airbags?
