MK7 2014 airbag refit problem

My model came without cruise control so I've bought and fitted them.

My issue is that once i refitted airbag horn is always on. It seems like it does not have needed travel anymore.

I've checked everything multiple times, checked wiring not sticking out but cannot figure this out.

Any tips from those that might have messed with airbag?

    Mine did thhis a couple of years ago-Turned out i hadnt fully pushed in one of the 3 plastic bits, that connect the air bag to the wheel, in to the cusioning on the wheel. Just needed an extra push to make sure it was properly seated fully.
