1992 ford AOD transmission troubleshoot

Featured Replies

hey guys, i'm trying to buy a 2wd 1992 ford f350, it has a 351 under the hood, backed by a AOD transmission, the owner said the front brakes locked up, and it didn't have the power to spin the back tires, a shop fixed the front brakes and the trans still doesn't work, it has the right amount of oil in it, i am just wondering if it is something i can fix.

thanks.

also, what aod trans's will bolt up, like a 1985 mustang AOD?, or like a lincoln mark vll AOD trans?

I don't think there is much experience of this model on this Forum, as probsably not sold in Europe,
