No damage to the key barrel or steering cowling?  It's possible they have a 'master key' type tool that fits Ford barrels... 



I appreciate that my steering lock does not stop someone steeling my car, but unless they had a key I would expect there to be visible signs of it being overcome (if I ever got the car back). Do we know for certain Jo’s car has traditional non-electric steering lock?

They don’t need a key , that’s what I’m trying to say 

 

they use the OBD and that releases the steering lock and starts the engine 

 

NO KEY IS NEEDED

police said yes , and on tik  tok videos you see thieves with master keys and a device to use on obd

Not just Fords either or cars for that matter.

Was common knowledge when I was working in the utility sector.

Mercedes/ Peugeot/ Vauxhall/ Ford all went AWOL from depots/ home and onsite with vehicles locked and full of expensive kit onboard.
