Just asking because I bought a car which after waiting several months was delivered to the dealer on 5th February. Now I'm told that they can't register is with Ford

because their site isn't working.  Been two weeks now and they say it's still not working.

    @iantt do you know if there are IT issues?

    It may work in your favour tbh, of you can hold out then tell them not to register it until 01.03.22 and get a 22 plate. Doesn't make a huge difference but at resale it might give your car the edge over a similar one on a 71 plate.

    Plus an alliterative 22 plate is more aesthetically pleasing than a 71 plate...  But maybe that's just me! :laugh:

     

    On topic, I've seen a few people collecting new Ford's recently on other forums, though I can't be totally sure that it was within the last 2 weeks.

    Ah but: I know the registration number of the vehicle. It's a 71 reg.  Everything is paid for but the dealer says it's something to do with the Ford site being down that they

    can't let me take it away until they're back up and running.
