Three pedals in 1969 automatic mustang

Just bought a 1969 automatic mustang. There’s a small pedal left of brake pedal. What is this for 🤔

I'm not familiar with the Mustang, but on some American Auto cars the small pedal on the left is the parking brake or it could be lights main beam switch.

It's a foot-operated screenwash spray.

It's to apply the 'parking brake' there should also be a small leaver on the left lower side of the dash, looks like a bonnet release handle, which you pull to release the parking brake.
