Thanks.  You are getting both HS & MS so that should be the full list.

It's the PCM where any injector faults should be stored.

Have you run a full DTC scan of all modules?

Hi Harriet @Hford, sorry not been about much these last couple of days, been busy fitting new central heating (the things I do for fun 🤔)

I see Tom has been keeping you right.

Any questions just ask, I don't promise to know the answer but I'll try and point you in the right direction.

Hi both….sorry I’ve been radio silent other stuff came up which needed sorting and such is life!!!!!

anyway back to the matter in hand…..we ran full scans of DTC codes but the only one which came up is for an airbag which Ford have told us previously that the car doesn’t have!!!  A curtain bag of skirt bag can’t remember which lol!! 😂

since trying to get to the bottom of this…..the reluctant starting that is….my OH mentioned it to a friend who said he thinks it isn’t the injectors or the pump, he suspects a leak/hole to the fuel pipe running from the tank to the injector pump……as he says the injector pump pulls it from the tank via this pipe……..what are ur thoughts?………in the meantime our  mechanic chap has come back with the cost of replacing the injectors…..£600 for reconditioned ones plus 2/3 hours label so I’m guessing around 1k f🙄🙄🙄🙄

Thanks again 😊

Have another look at my first reply in this thread lol.

If you feel up to running some live data in Forscan, see if you can find 'injector balance' for each injector.  Run them altogether and see if they are all roughly even when holding a fast idle of around 2000rpm.  I really wouldn't be spending that kind of money changing injectors unless there was some definite diagnosis of them.

very true and very possible.

mmmm.......... not convinced he's right, and prices seem a bit excessive. I would hold off that idea just now.

@TomsFocus @unofix definitely food for thought……unfortunately I won’t have time to run a live data on FORscan until the weekend again!!! But will definitely try it then……I have just read your first reply @TomsFocusagain, thanks for the reminder….🤦‍♀️😂……how easy is the low pressure pipe, to find and ultimately replace…..I am quite handy under the car on the simpler more manual jobs…..it’s just the techy stuff that gets me!!! Lol 😂

thanks again, I (& my OH) really appreciate your help and advice…..and no we’re definitely not going down the injector route yet, he can keep his parts cannon at bay for now!!! 😂😂😂😂
