Hi folks.

Can anybody help identify what's happened underneath the car in the photo?

I think a sensor has popped out of its housing on the gearbox but I'm not sure how bad the problem is. I don't think the sensor will screw back in assuming it goes in the shiny hole.

I hope you can help and in expecting a bit of sarcasm for being such a noob.

It's a mk7 petrol 1.2 fiesta

Your reverse light switch has exploded... :unsure:

The plastic bit should be inside the metal nut!

Easy fix though, just need a new reverse light switch.  Cost about a tenner or so.
