Coolant tank- sorry dumb question

sorry this may be a stupid question. But should you be able to see the coolant tank ( the one which has the min and max line ) water moving around in it when the cars on? Or should the water inside be still? There’s definitely a fair bit of movement going in mine and wasn’t sure if it’s normal or not.

I’m trying to work out if there’s bubbles going into it or if it’s just water circulating around. It’s hard to see through the plastic. Either way would be good to know if it should or shouldn’t be moving.

    A bit of movement is perfectly normal.

    If it's bubbling up like a boiling pan then there's likely to be a problem.
