Correct you need a new engine and probably turbo.

No there is nothing you can do, the engine is scrap.

Wayne, the cause of your engine failure is almost certainly a blocked oil pump strainer which is located inside the engine sump. This gets clogged with debris from the timing belt which breaks down over time.

In some cases this can be cleared/cleaned (or a new pump fitted) to restore oil pressure. However, the mechanical noise you mention is indicating serious wear/failure of internal parts, is probably extensive and VERY expensive.

As Unofix has said, the engine will need replacement, as it will be damaged far beyond typical DIY repair.

Options include having a used, refurbished or new engine fitted which you may decide is not cost-effective to do or selling the car on as spares or repairs.

but not as I remember beyond the scope of @RayC333 who must hold the record as the only individual to fully rebuild a 1.0 ecoboost engine AND get it to work 👍

I have also done full rebuild on mine 1.0 ecoboost 😄

It can be done , but it is not easy job.

It needs to be dissassembled to see where damage occurs.
