i tried them, got constantly flashed, so returned them

had my 4,000 LM nighteyes in for three years - been flashed once I believe - not sure if was the lights

obviously you need to fit them and get the beam right, as u can see 20 times better than halogens, they don't need to be 6 miles up in the air... if it above the boot lid / rear window of most vehicle's when driving around the 2 second rule, then you are just being a nuisance and loosing light u need to see where you are going stupidly lighting up the sky for no reason

If I could get 3,000 LM and 5,000 k I'd buy them - but the fools are trying to do more and more >10,000 LM and 6,500k no sensible reason (other than to get your own back on gits driving Mercedes (with factory LED death rays)

Botus you sound like you know what your on about, without breaking my bank suggest an upgrade for mine, with the nighteyes, yet again more choice lol.

I can message you my vin etc if needed for a reference point.

Thanks

if a mk2 with halogens, its just a straight swap to H7s on the dipped beam - if too much money then you could go high beam as well

Interested to note that these bulbs are 360 degrees rotatable. How would you know you have installed them accurately?

You gotta wonder why a huge company like Philips can't get their LED bulbs 'e' marked... (not that it would worry me one bit!)

What do you mean "e" marked?

So they are road legal and can pass an MOT! If it doesn't have an 'e' mark, technicality, they are for off road use only...

Doesn't say anything about being race/track use only.

Fan body bulbs are no good in a Focus as they don't retain properly.

You need fanless and they are all rubbish
