If you had a glass of water at 10c, and another glass of water at 30c, and set them both inside a room at 20c, which would reach room temperature 1st?

I'm going to say the 30c glass.

Warmer molecules move around more, using more energy.

Now, I should have fessed up initially LOL I have an A level in both chemistry & physics, but I haven't a clue on this seemingly simple problem. Would be keen to know a definitive answer though 😂

Well after reading it twice and then realising it wasn't 10 cents & 30 cents, which I couldn't get my head around and finally realising it was the temperature I would think it requires more energy to raise the temp.

So I think the 30C would cool quicker.

Oh stop it, what kind of fun is that, actually doing a 'practical' experiment! My old physics teacher would be proud of the suggestion though...
