Featured Replies

Hello there !

I'm making a new mod ford the game Assetto Corsa :

Visually, it's almost done, I just have to work on the rims now.

Anyway, I have to take care of the most important thing now : POWER !

But for that, I need the gear ratio of the 1.0t 140hp version, I can't find it anywere :/

So if you know the ratio, right it down... NOW ! Please :B

Thanks a lot, have a nice day !

I've got a 125 zetec s and struggle to get up steep hills down Devon.  Would a 140 or St diff help or better to change box?  It's going up steep hills in second gear which is the main problem, I have to really boot it which is often dangerous on tight country roads.

Remap will suffice. Don't have a back-street/Ebay/Facebook remap, stick to Superchips or Celtic tuning, they come to you.

Make sure the spark plugs are good and fit a Pipercross panel filter, you should get 150 BHP+

Not quite sure of the issue here. Is your thinking that 3rd gear would be better but you have insufficient torque to pull it up hill?

If so, Dave's suggestion would certainly be cheaper/less hassle than a diff or gearbox* change, and would boost torque as well as bhp. Superchips, for example, claim +47Nm.

*On a box change, thread here on fitting a Focus 6 speed:

The gears are too tall for pulling up steep hills, extra torque would help but is that low down in rev range because if I have to boot it in 2nd to get up a steep narrow hill I'm driving dangerously fast for the tight twisty  road with traffic coming down in the opposite direction.  I simply need to be able to drive up at say 15mph in 2nd which I currently can not do, have to stop and drive up in 1st which is ridiculous.
