Mazda 2 gearbox in 2009 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I need to change the gearbox in my car, I've got the model number and I've found a few that match from a mazda 2 that are 30% cheaper than one listed from a fiesta, would it be a straight swap or would there be any difference despite the numbers matching?

Thanks!

I don’t really know the answer.  But my wife has a 1.35 litre 2010 Mazda 2 (de series) and that has the slave cylinder on outside of bell housing , fiestas have slave cylinder inside bell housing.  I think previous series Mazda 2 might be more like fiesta mechanically

Thanks for the reply, don't think I'll risk it, bit expensive / heavy to return if it isn't right.
