Been trolling the internet and can't seem to find the correct torque specifications, If anyone could assist I would be eternally grateful.

    You will need new bolts for the main cap and big ends.

    Main Caps

    Oil jets top

    8  4  1  5

    7  3  2  6

    Stg 1 10Nm

    Stg 2 25Nm

    Stg 3 30Nm

    Stg 4 Angle tighten 15 Deg.

     

    Big Ends

    Oil jets top

    4  1  5

    3  2  6

    Stg 1 8Nm

    Stg 2 12Nm

    Stg 3 18Nm

    Stg 4 Angle tighten 35 Deg.

     Ford don't sell the bolts because they would rather you buy a whole engine as thats better for the planet. My solution was to buy some head bolts from a Ford Transit and cut them down to size as that worked for me. I did try a few other bolts but they didnt have the correct flange on the head of the bolt. The bolts that Ford use are 10.9 grade so if buying some and them cutting them down I sugest you stick to what was already used by Ford or the torque settings will not be correct.

    Part number for the bolts 300590350 Elring Cylinder Head Bolt Set from Euro Car Parts

     

    The clearence on the mains is 0.050mm taken from a low miles engine that I am changing the rods and pistons out for upgraded items.
