I had my powershift oil and filter changed at a main dealer and it cost £360 so your quote is way over the top. Not sure I would do it myself. I could have got it a bit cheaper at an independent gearbox specialist.

 

£360 on a powershift is a bit steep too.

It's as simple as the engine on a powershift, drain oil out, remove filter, which is on the side and refill.

The OP is asking about a 4F27E torque convertor auto, it's getting a bit confusing.

4F27E does not have a drain plug, the filter is inside the sump and most do not have a dipstick.
