Ok new post, dumb question i want to change the radio fascia on my Fiesta from silver to black, i came across this black one, but it has a different button symbols on it, a later model i do believe.

Could i use my old buttons with the new black panel ?

It's not a dumb question - the standard HU in the chrome surround pops-out easily... but I don't know if the black one does, nor do I know if the fitment is identical.

Yes you can swap out the silver facia to the black one, I done it to my sons Mk7

I just bought one the other day, with the heater trim and the other little piece of trim that goes in-between the heater and the radio fascia. I went for Satin black ones. 

Just waiting for them to be delivered/

What year was the from, because I did the same, bought the fascia and heater control, but the lower half doesn't fit as it's a different shape/size.

Unsure Kev to be honest, i thought they were all the same, fingers crossed it will be the same, if not i will have to get the original one sprayed.

Will let you know how i got on.

Spares arrived earlier on, just changed it all over, everything fits nicely, just need to get the steering wheel surround painted now.

Small problem, but just rectified it, forgot to take the clips out from the dashboard, and put them into the fascia.
