12v alternator replaced with 14v alternator... help.

    The 14v post I did , was based on someone's opinion . He was wrong...

    I have sense found the specs sheet of the new alternator and it's a 12v. 

    The high readings on the battery still the same , the car starts and works ok . The warning lights are gone ( took the car for a small test drive ) and everything works ok ...

    Which engine is yours as this alternator (Part number : 401591731) is not compatible with 1.6 Petrol or 2.0 Diesel according to Eurocarparts check. (Hoping you have 2.0 Petrol)
