Very useful scan, think we'd have been here a while before anyone suggested the purge valve.

It's this part if you haven't seen one before.  Very easy to change and cheap to buy used.

Here is the genuine version - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393529301976?

There is a chance it's a wiring fault, so you could check the loom back to the PCM with a multimeter, but if it was mine I'd just take a punt on a new valve.

Looks like you have FORScan in Demo Mode. I'm not exactly sure what that means in the Windows version, but normally it is run in Debug Mode. It can be changed in the Settings.

I presume you have an Adaptor with a MS/HS Can switch, I was expecting more Modules than are shown.

If you do have one you would normally be asked to flick the switch at some point. If you don't then I think there should be more Modules than are shown in the scan, or maybe it has something to do with being in Demo Mode, I'm not sure.

Changed over the part today. Done a rescan and it's cleared the alarm. Will run it now for a couple of days and hopefully see a improvement.

well been running the car and it seems to be better, although its seems to vibrate a bit when ticking over, no idea what might be causing it, engine seems smooth, will keep a eye on it. thanks to all who have posted.

just had a pcm on the ecu, which is a update, and a clutch sensor code as come up, i think there are two on the clutch pedal, so the question is whch one do i replace.

Do you have push-button start?  If so, does it work by pressing the clutch or do you need to press the brake as well?  If clutch only, replace the lower switch.  If clutch & brake, replace the top switch.

If it doesn't have keyless start, I'd start with the lower switch.  You can test the switches easily with a multimeter on continuity.  They are just simple on or off switches.

There are often two, although not on all cars, one at the Pedal pivot point in the footwell and one at the Clutch Master Cylinder, accessed from the Engine bay.

I've ran a car for a long time with the only one not working and when I changed it, more out of boredom than to fix a problem, the car did not run differently. That car did not have Cruise Control, Stop Start or Keyless Entry though.

Connect FORScan up and run Live Data for the switch or switches and disconnect the wiring and see if FORScan says anything different when you do so. Then temporarily bridge the wires while checking the live Data, you should be able to work out which one, if there are two is faulty.
