Fuel requirements

Just started to recommission a 69 ford escort mk1 rally car running a 1700 x flow with 40's. The last petrol used in it was the old unleaded with him adding Castrol lead replacement additive. With this new e10 fuel now can this go in just the same using the lead replacement and be ok? Thanks in advance.

Use E5, super unleaded, (Tesco is very good, not so expensive and rumoured to be E0) set ignition timing to original 4 star setting (not retarded for unleaded), continue to use LEAD additive (unless you know you have hardened valve seats)

Good luck with the car, post some pictures when it's finished
