i'm not sending my fob anywhere, really sorry

I can relate to that. Entrusting the only key to the British parcels services isn't something I'd do willingly.

I think Stephen is on the right track. It does seem as if the act of changing the battery disturbed something in the fob. It could be something as simple as a bent contact or maybe a cracked solder joint. I'd recommend giving it a very close visual examination, with a magnifier if necessary. He's also right in advising you to check the voltage of the battery. Even new ones can be dud if they're old stock and there are reputedly a lot of fake Duracell ones around. If you don't have a multimeter a perfectly adequate one can be bought ridiculously cheaply and they're a very useful tool to have.

even thou i get a beep when i unlock the door in the key lock and i get a constant beep until i put the key in the ignition and turn it on, the key still starts the car

Disabling the immobiliser uses a small microchip glued into the casing.  That's completely separate to the remote locking and doesn't need any battery power.

Sadly, the OP has already been informed of this in the 1st page of this thread, I really don't think that he can be helped further with this issue short of advising he take it to a reliable independent garage to have a look...

I do appreciate that, however the first page became very cluttered and confusing.  Not so bad for those us that have experience in this area and can pick out the relevant parts, but I can understand why things may have got lost or misunderstood for someone with less experience.

Honestly, my advice in this case would be to just try another damn battery...  Get a Panasonic as I know they don't come with any stickers or residue to need cleaning off.  If it still doesn't work, then carefully check the PCB for any solder cracks.  Most smartphones have a camera zoom function so don't need a physical magnifying glass for this.  If no damage can be found then you'll have to take it to a locksmith or a key cutters to ask them to diagnose.

Again, advice already given, still, he may pay attention to you, maybe he just doesn't like me 🤣

And, I know already mentioned, but while trying a new battery double check it is the correct way up. Ford owner manuals (especially the online version) are not always as clear as they might be and where there is more than one type of key for a particular model (as with the Focus Mk 2) often the + on the battery should be facing up on one, but down on the other type.

CHANGING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY

If the range of the transmitter in the remote control decreases gradually, the battery (type 3V CR 2032) should be replaced.
Remote control type 1
First, press the button to release the key blade.
Passive key
Remove the spare key.

  • Insert the screw driver into the opening marked with an arrow and carefully prise out the battery. Take care not to touch the battery contacts or the printed circuit board.
  • Insert a new battery. The plus contact of the battery (marked with a +) must face downwards on type 1 and passive key and upwards on type 2.
Reassembling the container
Snap the two halves of the housing together.
Remote control type 1
Assemble the key blade until it snaps onto the container.
Remote control type 2
Snap the transmitter unit back onto the key.
Passive key
Insert the spare key blade into the passive key until it clicks into place.
