Not as far as I know.  Would only have been written on the original PCM both physically and electronically.

Might be worth contacting a remapper to ask if they've seen an issue like this before with these cars, or if they can test your PCM to check that isn't damaged internally.

Needs to be a proper mapper, not just someone flashing other companies maps on.  I can recommend HDI-Tuning.

Just a bit of a long shot but it might work or at least confirm there is a problem with the PCM firmware.

If you use FORScan (must be on a windows laptop) and make sure you are in range of a good WiFi signal, then you can download the vehicles 'AsBuilt' file for the original PCM direct from the Ford server. (click the 'AB' tab at the bottom of the FORScan screen).

Then you can try to upload the AsBuilt file on to the present PCM.

If it loads without a problem then I would say your replacement must be OK. If on the otherhand it refuses to load the file it will give some sort of error like incompatible.

I'd just like to point out that I don't know if this will work but it could be worth a try. Remember to back-up and save the existing software on the PCM before trying to make changes.

Can anyone tell me what mk the engine is? It’s a euro 5 not sure what mk it is I’m gonna order a ecm but they all say mk1 engine compatible 2006 to 2014

Stop throwing parts at it and check the wiring for breaks.

Don't mess with any configurations with Forscan as you have a fault not a config issue

Common problem on S-Max/Galaxy is the large connector in the LH front wheel arch, very tight wires which break

I’ve stripped the whole wiring loom from the sensor all the way to the ecu plug tested them all and even replaced the 2 wires going up to the sensor to rule out any breaks I’ve unplugged all 3 ecu plugs cleaned them with contact cleaner not looking like a wire issue

I really would still recommend contacting HDI-Tuning (or similar) to double check that we're voltage testing the solenoid correctly and ask whether they've seen the Delphi PCM's fail in such a way that the solenoid no longer gets powered.  It won't cost you anything and would expect a reply within 24 hours.
