Fiesta 2010. Two extra wire near battery?

My battery has a start percentage of 62% so I plugged in a charger today, while doing this I found two extra wires next to the positive battery terminal however I can't seem to figure out what they're for.17062989939994259986894352770198.thumb.jpg.ba218393c67058d1558b1f9146678980.jpg

    Is it possible that the Loom as been replaced & that the 2 wires are now redundant & were disconnected intentionally?

    Where do the wires go to. Can see the excess has been rammed in down side of battery.

    I don't believe so they seem to be too thin to me the main 200a cables.

    They seem to be attached to the other wires that go down to the fusebox. I did notice the fuse on the positive terminal seems to be missing two cables.
