No crank

Featured Replies

Hi guys I've got a 2011 1.25 fiesta with no crank check fuses and relay all good. I have no signal going to the starter. In the fuse box under the bonnet I have switching negative to positive off the key for one side of the relay but on the other side I have nothing. I've done a continuity test on the cable form the fuse box to the ecu and it passed. So I'm thinking it's an ecu problem but want to be sure before I go changing anything. If anyone can give me a wiring diagram or advise I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Here is the link to the full Ford wiring schematic for the 2014 Focus.

It is on my personal Google drive and will only be available for the next 48 hours. 👍

Just spent a few months with similar problem and found out the 2011 fiesta has a known problem with water getting into the fusebox in engine compartment and it brings road salt with it so pull fuses and check for corrosion and also pop up fusebox and check for same underneath, the culprit for me was the wire under the 60amp fuse - it splits to 2 fuzes that runs everything connected to the engine.
