Fiesta MK7 Screen Upgrade - Please Help

Featured Replies

I currently have a fiesta mk7 2011 zetec pre-face lift with Bluetooth, usb and aux.
I have the orange matrix screen (image attached) works fine but it’s not to my taste.

My question is can I upgrade this to the coloured LCD screen used in mk7.5 facelift models?
I’m not bothered about GPS or anything like that, I only use FM Radio and Bluetooth.

The connections at the back of both displays are the same, I’m aware I might need a different display surround but I’m just curious if the LCD Display would work replacing the Orange Matrix Display.

Looking at them they just look like a plug and play but I’m not sure what will and won’t work etc.

Has anyone done this before? If so was it just plug and play, and could I have photos showing what it looks like in the Pre-face lift models?

thank you
