Mk6 fiesta engine light help

Featured Replies

Hi everyone I have a 2005 mk6 fiesta van 1.4 tcdi. The engine light is on and when I plug in code machine it said that there is a fault with the vehicle speed sensor. I have changed all of the abs sensors as that where it get the signal for the speed sensor and I rest it. The light will then come back on after the car has been switched on and off a few times. Don’t know what else to do I had the abs system check and that is all spot on. My Speedo works fine. The only other thing I have changed is the head unit to a media system. I change it back to see if it was that but the light came back on again. Any help would be a great help.

You need to use FORScan and read the Ford specific DTC's.

The Engine Management Light will not be on because of a wheel speed sensor, that would cause the ABS and/or ESP lights to be on.
