Electric O/S Mirror doesn't move properly

My mirror got hit. After the incident the mirror now wont move properly using the electric controls.

I feel like there's a clip inside that needs replacing but I have no idea what the part is called or where to find it.

Does anyone know what part I need?

    I'd be tempted to just buy a donor mirror from Ebay, and swap out the internal motor. If the casing of your original mirror is still cosmetically intact, you could search for one with a cracked casing which would be cheaper. I'm unsure what 'clip' you think you may need.

    Can you hear the current motor working, and what exactly is the limitation of the movement of the mirror?
