Wheel spacers for a mk 8.5 fiesta st

Featured Replies

Im after front a rear wheel spacers for my st but unsure what brand to choose some and really expensive and some are seriously cheap anyone got experience with good brands that dont break the bank?

I wouldn't, as you'll just screw-up the handling, but if you're interested in looks and don't really drive it, anything will do.  Hubcentric are better, and ones made in Europe with TUV approval would be the only ones on my list.   Don't forget to tell your insurance company. 😊

Wreck the wheel bearings too

You will most likely have to replace the wheel studs for shorter ones unless you are fitting 22mm wheel spacers (bad idea).

Hi.

If you have any issues with insurance at all for wheel spacers then please feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Dan.

Hi Dan - great to have an expert comment on the thread.  So are you saying that spacers don't count as a modification, because (say) some models had them from the factory?  Always good to learn from those in the industry 🙂

He’s not saying anything as usual, just touting for business.

which car maker fits spacers instead of fitting wheels with the correct offset?

Did we ever establish if "Dan", who posts spookily similar messages on various forums, is real or a bot?😀

Porsche for one.

If they do that at the factory then it’s not a modification, it’s how the car was designed and built.
