vacuum leak

Featured Replies

hi all anyone had issue with vacuum leak on a fiesta 1.6 tdci now to resolve  please

What are the symptoms?

Vac leak can really only affect turbo boost control or brake servo on these.

Turbo diesel intake is generally under boost so they don't suffer the same running issues as NA petrols with a vac leak.

Is that a full set of injectors or just one?

As you've changed so many parts, it's difficult to know where to look next.   It may even be a poor wiring connection that's getting moved as you pull away.

Forscan should give us a fault code that can help find the issue.  I would recommend doing that if possible.

Yes.  It can detect open circuits and short circuits.
