Need some advice

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I own a Ford fiesta finesse 1.3 2001. She has only done 40000 miles! I know the previous owners as they are my neighbours and know it was garaged for over 10 years. I have always had her serviced since I owned her and have lots of paperwork for her.

I was keeping her for my son to drive but he has announced he doesn’t want to learn.

She is pretty much as she left the factory. She has the odd bit of rust forming but is a lovely car. I am thinking of selling her and am not sure what to ask for her. I have looked at various car sales online and found it ranges from £1000-£2000! I want her to go to someone who will love her as much as me. I would be grateful for any advice you can give me. Thanks 😊

I'm afraid my advice is "Don't worry about the next owner".

You've put YOUR effort and money into looking after it - so look at getting the most money for it as easily as you can.

Don't ignore webuyanycar or other buyers like them. Even if you don't end up selling to them, see what  they will offer you and you can work upwards from there when considering what to ask.

And remember that every month you keep the car it's costing you money and depreciating a little bit more.
