Hi. My daughter is having problems with selecting a gear on her 2012 Fiesta. Occasionally, she cannot get it from one gear to another, It gets stuck, and only frees itself after a few minutes. It has got stuck in 1st, 2nd, 4th and reverse. Any ideas what this may be?

    With the engine OFF and the clutch pedal pressed down can you change gears easily ?

    Slave cylinder or needs a new clutch

    Common enough problem especially 1.0 Ecoboost engine. Best to replace both the master cylinder and clutch. I have same issue
