I brought new bonnet latch for my car because the bonnet open sign on dash kept coming on even though it wasn't open. Now the catch is here it doesn't have a sensor on it . If I were to put it on without the sensor would it be OK or would it cause other problems 🤔

Appreciate any help

Also where can I get the sensor quick  would Halford sell them

It will still say "bonnet open"

You have bought the wrong latch. The sensor comes as part of the latch assembly and can not be bought separately.

You need to buy Ford finis code 525 0947 which is Ford part CA6A-16700-BE
