Anyone watching the Formula 1? If so, what do you think about the season so far?

I guess not then... :(

Hi.Yep,I am following the F1 season when I can but I must admit it's not as good as it used to be.It seemed to be alot more wheel to wheel in the days of Lauda,Piquet,Senna,Prost,Mansell,Shoemaker(young)etc.I also must admit that I'm not a huge fan of Hamilton,he's a damn fine driver but he just seems too cocky for his own good and takes his bat and ball home if he doesn't get his own way or the car keeps breaking down on him.Button comes across as being a bit more amiable and approachable.I also can't for the live of me work out why Shoemaker came back into F1.He was a fantastic driver in his heyday(Benetton/Ferrari)and looked at times unstoppable and unflappable. Is it the lure of some more cash although I dare say he'll have some laying around somewhere or does he see himself on a level par with all the rest of the drivers.Gaz.

Hi,

Sorry for my late reply and thanks for replying to me. I think this season has been very good with some very exciting races- apart from the usual boring few. I'm actually a fan of Hamilton: I prefer his aggressive driving style over Button's.

As for Schumacher, I think in the right car he could do far better. Too bad he's stuck in a car that doesn't suit his driving style. It will be interesting to see how he does next season when he gets his car sorted out.

:D
