Automatic lights

Featured Replies

Hello, I have those headlights in my car, with no led around. It's not authentic, it's DEPO.

I have a problem with auto lights. It's always on night mode.

I changed today the rain/light  sensor inside.

I noticed that in the engine fuse box there is a blown fuse in the 73 position, 5A.

I change it but with no luck. Only night mode.

Always the night lights are working, and on the media screen also in settings, display, I have auto and again only night mode.

Is anything else I can do or I need forscan settings?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English 😂

Where are you?

Greece, at my parking

If your lights are on all the time then you have what's called "Scandinavian" mode activated.

You will need FORScan to turn it off

Can I do this with forscan lite with my smartphone or only with forscan with laptop?

The phone versions of FORScan don't allow programming via a bluetooth dongle

Hello again,

I bought an obd scanner which connects to forscan. I will have it by Monday.

Can you tell me the steps to turn off the Scandinavian mode?

Thanks in advance

It will be enabled in BCM configuration.

Set to disable and click write

I connect the obd and seems ok. I found this and took a screenshot.

You're looking at DRLs not Low beams.

Scandinavian mode is low beam headlights, taillights and number plate lights on on ignition.

What is it you actually want to do?

My car is from Italy, I have it in Greece. I have the switch in "auto" and all day even with sun, my lights are always on high beam. My headlights don't have perimeter led, it's simple, only have led H7 and H15.

So I want to make it work properly.

Low beam in the morning and when it's getting dark high beam.

And the sync 3.4(updated by myself), I have it in auto mode and it's dark all day too.

The H7 outer lights are low beam or dipped beam

The H15 inner lights are DRL and High Beam or main beam (blue light symbol illuminated on dash when on)

Don't look under DRL options in FORScan look under dipped and main beam options or put up a screen shot of that

But it sounds like you may have a sensor issue or a BCM issue

The h7, I don't know how to say it, are the main lights when I use in dark.

H15 are low beam as you said and high beam too(blue light on dash).

The switch has for options. The first option (O) opens h15, second option open h15 and taillights. Third opens H7 and taillights, and then is auto which not working properly 😅

I don't know if you understand my English 🤣

I have changed the sensor in front glass, nothing happened. I don't know what is BCM 😅

I will check it again in a hour or two and take I shot

The H15 should work three ways

DRL bright, DRL dim and high beam (separate filament)

"0" should be H15 DRL Bright, no other lights - auto mode off

"1" should be H15 Dim, Tails and number plate

"2" should be H7 on H15 Dim, tails and number plates - auto mode on

H15 High Beam when indicator stalk has called for high beam in "2" or auto mode on

0 and 1 are as you said.

2 is h7 dim and the rest you said and h15 are closed

I see that I don't have the option BCMii(I watch a video for auto lock door and said to go to that menu)

So do u think I need obd with cable first of all?

I think a BCM and a BCMii are the same thing, If anyone knows differently I would be interested.

If you want to check further then connect to FORScan again but do not use the Stored Profile, let FORScan do a fresh scan.

If your Adaptor was too slow then FORScan would have given you a warning when you connected.

Yes, just a newer version.

Just like 'OBD' and 'OBDII' same thing just more functions.

Same on mine I think. Will have to check next time I connect.

So, if this BCM is correct, how do u see the adjustments for lights?

Furthermore, I try to find option  automatic lock doors after 20km/h and it is missing. Only "auto lock personal"

I'm the wrong person to ask, I use FORScan a lot and have done for several years but not for Configuration, which is what you want to do.

I do know that what you can do with the Drop Down Menu varies from car to car and sometimes you need to Enable more than one thing to get what you want.

I'm sure others on this Forum will know, if not you could try the FORScan Forum although a lot of the people who post on there are Americans with different cars and a lot with Trucks.
